What this site collects, and what it does not
OriginRV counts visits and reads the words people type into its own search box. It does not have accounts, does not run advertising, and does not sell anything about you to anyone. This page says exactly what is collected, so you can decide whether that is acceptable to you.
What is collected
Visits, through Google Analytics. OriginRV loads Google Analytics, which sets cookies and records things such as which pages were opened, roughly where in the world the visit came from, what kind of device and browser was used, and which site linked here. Google processes that data as described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Visit counts, through Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare records page views for this site without setting a cookie and without building a profile of you.
The words you type into the site search. The search box on this site records the term you searched for, so we can see what people are looking for and what is missing. It is not linked to you, and it is not a record of who searched.
What you send us. If you use the claim form or email us, we receive what you wrote, including your email address if you gave one. That is used to answer you and to correct the listing, and for nothing else.
What is not collected
There are no accounts and no logins on this site. Nothing sets a cookie of its own. No advertising network runs here, no data is sold, and no profile of your browsing is built across other websites.
Cookies
The only cookies come from Google Analytics. A browser set to block third-party cookies, or an extension that blocks analytics, will not stop the site working. Every tool and every guide works with all cookies refused.
Do Not Track
This site does not change what it collects when a browser sends a Do Not Track signal, because it does not track anyone across other websites in the first place. The setting makes no difference here either way.
Businesses listed in the directory
The directory lists RV repair businesses built from what each business publishes publicly, such as its own website and its own contact details. It is a compilation of public information, not material supplied by the businesses, and it is provided as is: a listing being present is not a recommendation, and a business's details can change after they were recorded.
If you run a listed business and want the entry corrected, updated or removed, say so and it will be done. You do not have to give a reason.
Asking about your own data
Write to the address on the contact page and ask what is held about you, or ask for it to be deleted. Because there is no account system, the only personal data this site is likely to hold is a message you sent and the reply to it. Requests are answered, and nothing is kept after a request to remove it.
This policy describes what the site actually does rather than a template. If what it does changes, this page changes with it.
